What age range is the attraction suitable for?
We aim to appeal to all generations with an enquiring and active mind. Some exhibits depict subjects of medical interest which visitors should be prepared for.
How do I use my DigiTickets?
You will be emailed an order confirmation that will include your unique Booking Reference Number and a barcode that also contains this number. You may make a note of this number and take with you when you visit the attraction in place of a ticket, although we suggest printing out the email as this will contain a barcode which will grant you quicker access.
Do you issue refunds?
No, we regret we are unable to issue refunds online. Please speak to us in store.
What happens when I buy a ticket online?
On completion of your order, you will be emailed a DigiTicket containing a barcode and booking reference number. Present this ticket on arrival, or if you don’t have a printer, simply make a note of the Booking Reference Number.
I don't have a printer...
You do not have to print out the 8 digit booking reference – simply make a note of the Booking Reference Number and take it with you, coupled with some ID. Or please bring the email with you on your mobile device and this can be used to gain entry.
Is there wheelchair access?
The Water Tower is situated on Chester Walls which have limited access and is not recommended for Wheelchairs. Within the Tower there are several steep flights of stairs and visitors with limited mobility should be aware of this
The attraction sits within a series of 14th century towers and as such access is not possible for wheelchair users or people with mobility issues.
Are there toilets and baby change facilities avaliable?
Toilets are available in the Water Tower Gardens facilities which are 100 m from the WaterTower.
Are refreshments avaliable on site?
We provide cold drinks in our shop and there are many excellent cafes, restuarants and sandwich shops within easy walking distance.
Can I purchase a ticket in-store or on the day?
Yes, tickets are available at the desk on the day but you may be asked to wait during busy periods to enter the attraction.
